Educational & Behavioral Consulting
Navigating special education and behavioral support can feel overwhelming, especially when systems are not accessible and your child’s needs are complex. You may be preparing for an IEP meeting, reviewing a behavior plan, or simply wanting support that truly fits your child.
You don’t have to do this alone.
I provide special education advocacy and behavioral consultation services rooted in evidence-based practice and collaboration. My work centers children’s strengths, honors their communication and autonomy, and helps families and school teams build supports that are meaningful and sustainable.

My name is MaryPat Bartel. I am a special educator, parent, and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. With experience in the classroom as a special education teacher, I know the IEP process intimately and understand the perspectives of the public school system. This, paired with my clinical expertise as a BCBA, allows me to have a unique view of the IEP and behavioral support process, and best advocate for the needs of your child.
I would be honored to join your child's team, and help you develop skills for advocacy this school year and beyond. Please reach out via my contact page to set up a free 30-minute consultation.
